Surrender

You can surrender, or give up, rights in a trade mark either in part or in its entirety. You must tell all the people who have an interest in your mark, e.g. licensees, that you are going to give up those rights three months before you apply to surrender.

The application for full or partial surrender of the trademark should be supplied with a list of all the parties who have an interest in your mark.
